We often describe research in terms of a conversation: scholars and researchers are busily asking questions and making discoveries that they then share with each other. Inclusive research is no different, except that it's more likely that you might find information that calls what you know into question or that causes upsetting emotions—or you might worry about offending others or using the wrong words. All of this is totally normal!
