The last few decades have seen an explosion of new books—fiction and non-fiction—about the LGBTQ+ experience. Men, women, transgender people, non-binary people have been speaking out about their stories. Reading these books—and the many more in the Fulton Library's collections—can help expand our understanding and knowledge of LGBTQ+ life.
This list is a starting point for non-fiction books to help you learn more about LGBTQ+ subjects and issues. You can use OneSearch (see below) to find more books.

We recommend using both databases because, while there is some overlap between the two, each database features a lot of unique content.
