This guide includes lesson plans and materials for library workshops in the following categories:
These lessons are offered cafeteria-style, meaning you can use any combination of these lessons, depending on your students' needs. Livestreaming and face-to-face instructors will also see time limitations for each lesson.
To ensure the continued success of our English instruction program with our current librarian Instruction Team staffing, we are adjusting the number of in-person sessions available and adding more online options to supplement in-person instruction. We will now only offer one face-to-face session per section with a librarian per semester, supported by multiple online modules and digital materials. The face-to-face session will continue to provide different options to accommodate your needs.
Use the green navigation menu (left) to select the course you're teaching, then click on the modality of your course to see materials librarians will use to teach your class (or, in the case of online classes, modules you can import from Canvas Commons).
If you'd like to learn more about our instruction program, please contact the instruction coordinator. We are happy to work with you to provide the support your students need!
