This guide includes lesson plans and materials for library workshops in the following categories:
These lessons are offered cafeteria-style, meaning you can use any combination of these lessons, depending on your students' needs. Livestreaming and face-to-face instructors will also see time limitations for each lesson. Instructors of these courses are welcome to schedule multiple library days to account for these limitations.
Use the green navigation menu to select the course you're teaching, then click on the modality of your course to see materials librarians will use to teach your class (or, in the case of online classes, modules you can import from Canvas Commons).
Librarians can teach workshops on a variety of topics. If you would like to request instruction on another topic, or if you'd like to learn more about our instruction program, please contact the instruction coordinator. We are happy to work with you to provide the support your students need!
These lessons are offered cafeteria-style, meaning you can schedule any combination of these lessons, depending on your students' needs and your available class time. Please feel free to schedule multiple library workshops, if you'd like. Instruction requests must be submitted at least four days in advance.
If your class meets in a computer lab classroom or at a satellite campus, we are happy to visit your regular classroom or arrange for livestreaming instruction. In these cases, please contact the Instruction Coordinator directly and include two or three preferred dates, your class meeting time, and location.
