Module 12 readings

Introduction

The two readings selected for this week will help you understand traditional and modern ways to share information with the public.

The first article explains how public information officers work with news outlets and others to relay details about the disaster to the affected community.

The second article exposes the great benefit and challenges of utilizing social media during disaster response operations.
