Starting Your Research

This guide is for students in ENGL 1010, ENGL 2010, and ENGH 1005. It will also be helpful for other students who are working on research papers and projects.

Getting Started

You can use the Find Articles page to learn more about using databases and finding journals by title. The Find Books page will teach you to find books and ebooks available from Fulton Library. The Evaluating Sources page will help you determine the credibility and relevance of potential sources. The Citations page walks you through the process of citing your research in both APA and MLA styles.

Search for Articles

The articles tab on the library's homepageThe best place to start most searches is the search box on the library's homepage. This search box defaults to Articles, giving you quick access to popular and scholarly articles from thousands of different publications.
