Concurrent enrollment students have access to UVU's library databases, like OneSearch and ProQuest, even if they aren't on campus! To access these materials, start at the library's homepage then try a search! Off-campus users will be prompted to log in with a UVID and password.
If your students don't know their UVID and password, they can use the UVID Lookup Page to find their ID number. (Note: they'll need the last four digits of their Social Security number to complete this step). They can reset their password at myUVU or by calling the UVU Help Desk at 801-863-8888.
If you are having any trouble getting access to library materials, check out our library's FAQ page or contact us.
The Research Help Desk is the best place to ask for help with your research projects. Our expert librarians can help with research questions from developing a great question, locating scholarly articles and books, citing sources, and more!
The Research Help desk is located in the main lobby area, near the first floor entrance and Circulation Desk. The Research Help Desk is open every day of the week for drop-in research assistance—no appointments needed!
In addition to in-person help, you'll find several online options for contacting a librarian under the Ask a Librarian section on the library's homepage.
The UVU Writing Center is located on the library's second floor, on the east side of the building just past the elevators. This is an amazing resource to help you improve your writing. You can meet with tutors one-on-one to go over your writing projects, plus they have numerous handouts on their website for citations styles and tips for common writing assignments.
One-on-one appointments with Writing Center tutors are available both online and in-person. Make appointments using the scheduling system on their website (link below).
