Reading news articles can often help you see how issues surrounding your chosen topic are impacting your community, or they can help you think of an issue to focus on. They may also help you learn about recent policy changes or proposed policy changes that are still in progress. When your state legislature is in session, there may be many articles published in the news related to proposed policy updates.
News websites often require a subscription to read more than a few articles, but you can find many news sources available through the Fulton Library databases.
